A New Place To Worship in Bondo Township, Kenya…a UNTCI Fellowship

June 18, 2018 Bondo, Kenya

The Congregation known as the Guildford Park Baptist Church, which met to worship and fellowship in the local school in Bondo for years prior, has a new home and soon a new name.

Rev. Fred Akello (pictured left), Pastor of the church and Fellow with UNTCI, has been joined by others to get this job done.

The new location is on a piece of land just outside the village that makes it accessible to many outside the village that would not otherwise be able to find them.

Pastor Akello seeks to organize the families in the area through this new church placement and eventual name change into a sub-community of Christians that will live in fellowship beyond the weekly worship and rely upon each other and God for daily requirements such as education, employment, shelter, food help, etc.

The name Guildford Park Baptist Church, Bondo Township, will soon be changed to The Bondo Independent Evangelical Christian Church to better identify to the community who they are, what they are doing, and for whom they are doing it, according to Pastor Akello.

We pray God’s Countenance upon them as they boldly seek to serve Him and His in Bondo, Kenya.
