Dearest fellow workers in Christ,
Just a note to remind us that none of what is happening in the atmosphere and weather is a NO surprise to God. Watch this: the solar eclipse happened on the 21st; hurricane Harvey hit Texas on the 25th with the majority of the flooding happening on the 26th. Let’s look at Luke 21:25-26.
“Strange things will happen to the sun, moon, and stars. The nations on earth will be afraid of the roaring sea and tides, and they won’t know what to do. 26 People will be so frightened that they will faint because of what is happening to the world. Every power in the sky will be shaken.”
All that flooding does seem like a roaring sea. And let’s not forget the earthquake that recently hit Mexico. All this is old news to God, but it should be a wake up call for us believers. We need to amp up our service to Him. “Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?” (Luke 2:49) Time to get really busy!
Just my 2 cents worth.

With all that is going on this is food for thought. Though scripture states we don’t know the time, some of the signs are more than poignant.

Greetings Pastor Sam,
I totally agree with you. The Bible says in Matthew 24:36 that “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only”, but if you examine the signs of the times, we are certainly closer to the end rather than the beginning.
I also heard that a few years ago, a prominent atheist mathematician proved – using regression theory, global resource dispersion, GDP, GNP, and macroeconomics – that the world is no longer growing, but in a state of asset recession. How’s that for God using the world to prove a biblical prophesy.

We are, assuredly, one day closer to His coming.
Is the Bride prepared?

Greetings brother Mark,
No truer words. Unfortunately I think the bride forgot there is an impending wedding! The church has been lulled into a false sense of security. She needs to wake up, and get ready. Forewarned is forearmed.

The falling away is happening, and that to is a sign too. But our Lord knows that it will only go so far, and then a revival will come upon us and we will see the flaws of this world and all the glitter that is not gold.
People will find their way back to faith of our Lord. Most then will finally “See His face” and ‘ every knee shall bow.’ Unfortunately some may refuse, but our Lord has control of it all.
Once we have spread the Word of Christ, around the world totally ,and once done, He will come in the clouds, for ‘all’ to see!
Certainly I agree, the time is running very short.

Greetings Sister Carol,
“No one knows the day or the hour”, but the signs definitely show that we are closer to the end than the beginning. I agree that many have fallen away from the Faith. But Praise be to God that is Grace is sufficient and that through efforts of the anointed and appointed ones, the revival will come. We have work to do as we are God’s ambassador to Planet Earth.
