Dear fellow Brothers & Sisters in the faith,

It has been a real prevlidge to serve the TECU community of UNTCI as Faculty. God brought me another ministry to possibly serve soon. I have a meeting scheduled this week on Saturday 23rd for a Youth Pastor position that may be volunteering.
Please pray for me to be ready for the interview meeting with Pastor Chuck of Wheatland Christian Church (Wheatland, California). Please be with me in the spirit. I will do a re-post of what happens. I have big hopes for this position to bring in the Lord to this Church. It may not pay but at least I will be active again in the ministry (besides being online with UNTCI).

    Thank you for reading.

Thanks for your prayers. I met with Pastor Chuck today at Red Robin. We discussed my job (volunteer position until Church grows). I will be starting tomarrow Sunday morning our goal is to grow our congregation in our community. So please keep those powerful prayers going because they are working! This non-denominational church in Wheatland, CA is the most accepting Church anywhere for me. Most Churches that belong to denominations are really closed up. I will be the new Youth Pastor and the next in line for Senior Pastor. They wish to remain an independent Church since leaving the denomination of Disciples of Christ. (which is a good thing….)

Unfortunutly just last night I got a bad email from the Pastor of the Church. Chuck emailed me and said that “other leaders said that they were concerned that I was moving too quickly in the ministry and that I would need to wait until I show my gifts.” I emailed him back and I said, we had an agreement that I was to fill the position but you have listened to man rather than God. I am no longer interested in the position.

Please pray for my search of ministry work.

Far to often, I think a many of us in the ministry have seen those. Especially those that are controlled by the ones in congregation (in many situations, I’m not saying every time) that seem to have the only ear of the Senior Pastor.

Thank you for your comment Pastor JD. Yes it was a horrible thing to hit me. As if the enemy (satan) runs the worldly church system even when that church left their worldly denomination… they still run it the same way independently. I was trying to help them out but they dont want any now.

It is good to belong to UNTCI / TECU ministries.

Years ago, I experienced a similar situation with a church. But please remember that God loves you and has a plan for your life. One of the lessons that God may be teaching you is that when He has you in a ministry position, not to follow man but rather our Father. You made the choice to follow God and not man when you passed on the position and that choice will be before you again in the future.
“In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:6
    Blessings,
    Larry
