Shalem Gospel Ministries is a missions ministry that is fully affiliated with UNTCI that is “on fire” for the Lord in the midst of a Hindu region that is historically violent against Christianity.

This ministry reached out to Trinity Evangelical Christian University for an education program for their missionaries that they might be more effective. TECU responded by developing a Bachelor Level Program for “Missionary Studies” that is now available to everyone through TECU as an Oxford Method® Self-Study Degree Program.

The Fellowship purchased and shipped the books necessary for the course and they are now meeting weekly in study, well on their way.

As a result we found that they were actively involved in what they call “Movie Ministry” where they go out into the neighborhoods and set-up an outdoor theater, show a Christian Movie produced in India, then preach the Gospel. We helped them purchase a new video projector and are on pace to provide them with a laptop computer to assist in their studies.

They now, have expanded into open air worship services each Sunday and are winning people to Christ and Baptism.

This Mission is committed to the following:

  • Educating their missionaries for more effective witness, preaching, teaching, and service.
  • “Movie Ministry” outdoor theater presentations coupled with Gospel Teaching and calls to Baptism.
  • Outdoor, open-air worship services for Christians and “Curious”
  • The Gathering and maintaining of a local church.
  • Children’s Ministry including the start of a badly needed orphanage.
  • Their Rural outreach program, “At The Well” Clean Water Project that provides bore wells to poor villages that have no safe water source.

UNTCI is committed to helping Shalem Gospel Ministries help those around them!

Admittedly, our support of this worthwhile Christian Mission has been small and irregular, but we remain committed to them in prayer, talent, and treasure as much as we can by the grace of God and the good works of the Fellowship. UNTCI has not been able to commit to a monthly gift for support to this Mission, however we continue with our educating efforts and gifts as we can as you provide.

Special gifts are welcome through UNTCI’s “Giving Center“, these gifts will be made directly to Shalem Gospel Ministries as you direct. Simply indicate to us at “Home Office” through an email to what your intentions are. Be sure to include your transaction ID number and the amount of the special gift/offering.

Note: Regular Automated Monthly Giving helps us plan, budget, and commit more to these missions, ministries, and more like them.
