Reverend Capri E.O. Harston, Ordained and Anointed by oil and the laying on of hands, December 29th, has joined the UNTCI Fellowship of Ministers and Ministries to serve her High Calling with Trinity Bright & Morning Star Interdenominational International Ministries and Rev. Dr. Janeese S. Page-Byers, a UNTCI Elder of the Church.
Reverend Harston, entered TBMSIIM, a long-time associated ministry of the United New Testament Church, Int. as a “Vicar” Mentee under the mentorship of Reverend Doctor Janeese Page-Byers, a long-time Fellow of UNTCI and Church Elder. Revend Harston’s studies and experiential development have been oriented toward her calling to ministry and have been aimed at focusing on her anointing. She is a successful career woman within the education and counseling disciplines, a wife, mother, and soon to be a grandmother.
Accompanied by her Husband, Mr. Louis Harston, and surrounded by Family and Friends at what was a beautiful service in a beautiful setting, The Fairfield Missionary Baptist Church, Goodlettsville, TN., Rev. Dr. Page-Byers introduced [then] Minister Harston as “always” having a calling of service upon her life, evidenced by the way she responded and lived her life thus far. She recognized Minister Harston’s own recognition of what is her true calling now and all of the things prior that were preparing her to “enter into” the High Calling that is upon her. With all of it being said and recognized upon her, Rev. Dr. Page-Byres recommended (officially and publicly) Capri E.O. Harston be “elevated” to that High Calling by Ordination.
Rev. Dr. C. Joseph Fifer, Prelate of the Church (UNTCI) made his remarks in concurrence with the recommendation of Ordination, calling upon all of the present to witness and be accountable to help support, not just the newly called to ministry, but all Christians, because “no Christian is ever called to stand alone.” “We are, in Christ, all sent,” according to Dr. Fifer, “at the least, by twos.” Dr. Fifer then called for “the oil to be poured”.
Capri E.O. Harston [Reverend] completed the afternoon’s commentary by presenting a rousing sermon on the need to focus on the calling God has for each of us. Accepting what God is doing in our life, designed to prepare us for what it is we will be doing. She used insight from the Book of Jonah to bring the point home.
The Ordination was completed when [now] Reverend Harston, made her vow before God and Witness, gave signature to her Covenant, and accepted the oil and the laying on of hands.
We give thanks to everyone who participated (officially & unofficially) to make this memorable event possible:
