God does not remember the sins of all people who are partakers of the new covenant. That’s right… God isn’t keeping score if you are a believer. You can relax and trust Him now.
Yes… REST is what He wants for you. Not chasing your tail, trying to tap dance for His holy attention. He just wants to hang out with you… like He did with Adam and Eve in the Garden before the Fall… In fact, of all the creation of the universe, it’s your heart He loves and treasures most of all.
What about all the “good works” stuff? Well, until you are deeply involved in a two way relationship with your Father, that stuff doesn’t really matter much. It’s your heart He’s after. Not to worry… the “good works” will start bubbling out of you naturally… as a result of His love. His love will change you… profoundly… in ways that are very hard to adequately describe.
To be a partaker and beneficiary of the new covenant, one must believe that Christ has fully paid for your peace and salvation…
