TECU’s Distance Seminary (Kenya) Class 2019-2 to Start

15 Pastor / Students have been selected and enrolled into our Seminary’s “Distance Degree” program through the efforts of UNTCI Kenya Fellowship and TECU’s Director of Education, Kenya (Rev. Fred Akello)

These Students are currently serving as Pastors of rural, outlying churches in the Bondo District of Kenya. The Degree Program they have signed up for is the Bachelor of Theology & Ethics (intensive) that utilizes “The Portable Seminary” by David Horton as the major text requirement. The students are committed to gathering once a week for Lecture and Questions through an internet conference link with TECU Adjunct Instructors and comprehensive writing assignments in between.

Last year’s program was completed by 12 Pastor / Students with great success, and we pray this year’s efforts will be at least as fruitful as the last.

We do need your help with this program’s funding to ensure success and good fruit. The shipping of the required texts to Kenya is in excess of $300, the cost of the Bibles to be purchased there (to save shipping) is $5 each, plus additional expenses to make this go, really adds up.

Please consider in this season of gift giving… give the gift of education and opportunity!
